UK legal firms require the consistent, timely supply of capital in order to compete successfully on the market and handle large volumes of cases quickly
How does the issuer’s business model work and what is the added value?
The single loan amount provided by the issuer to law firms seeking to finance a specific legal case comes in at £1,000–5,000 (depending on the case type) and is extended for a short term (6–12 months).
The issuer charges a simple (not compound) interest rate of 5% per month on the loans provided to the law firms, representing an allocation of 60% per annum for investor funds.
The issuer mostly finances conventional body injury, house disrepair, and financial mis-selling litigations where responsibility has already been established. Only cases with strong prospects for success are selected for financing.

ㅤ“Given the current market uncertainty and low risk premiums, professional investors are increasingly turning to alternative investments. On one hand, we aim to mitigate risk by investing in low-beta assets that reduce portfolio volatility. On the other hand, we seek to optimize returns by investing in emerging sectors with capital shortages, which allow us to capture yield premiums.

All of our target sectors benefit from economic recessions or downturns
Benefit
Economic downturns spark increases in the number of litigation events between individuals and legal entities, leaving law firms in need of more capital and providing litigation funders with attractive earning opportunities.
Litigation funding in the UK
Subprime lending in the UK
Flipping of distressed and repossessed residential property in London
Recessions tend to hinder access to bank loans, putting any secured credit provider on a front footing. We help our clients take advantage too.
Strong economic headwinds lead many real estate owners or non-performing mortgage borrowers
to put their property on the market at a discount.
